1) Have at least 10-12 glasses of water everyday. Minimize your dependence on high calorie beverages including juices and sodas. Instead, try to fresh lemon water without adding sugar into it. It is one of the easiest and quickest way to lose unwanted calories after pregnancy.
2) Instead of buying baked foods, flavored juices and junk foods, try nutritious snacks such as raisins, popcorn, and nuts.
3) Have lean meat products such as boneless chicken for meal.
4) Include whole grains in your food such as whole wheat bread and pastas instead of “white” versions.
5) Don’t get tempted to buy foods that are labeled as low-calorie. Do you know many such foods contain harmful ingredients such as hydrogenated vegetable oils? So, invest in foods wisely!
6) Fast food looks a quick and delicious choice at times, but you should avoid having them as much as you can. If you have to order from outside, opt for salad, and strictly avoid calorie-rich burgers and French fries.
7) Start exercising. Take a short walk with your baby and gradually increase the duration everyday. You can use a baby stroller for convenience. Make walking a habit, which you can enjoy everyday along with a friend.
8) Use stairs instead of elevators to shed those extra pounds.
9) Breastfeed your baby as it uses all your stored fats! Do you know you can burn around 500 calories everyday when you breastfeed your baby?
10) Join a gym. You can even join a gym that offers babysitting services.
